OX -- group connecting titanium center


The OX group in this part has different effects on the performance of titanate according to the structure of the base. For example, carboxyl group can increase the compatibility with semi-polar materials, sulfonic acid group has thixotropy, sulfone group can increase ester exchange activity, phosphate group can improve flame retardancy and softness of polyvinyl chloride. Pyrophosphate group can absorb water and improve the impact strength of rigid polyvinyl chloride. Phosphite group can improve oxygen resistance and reduce viscosity in polyester or epoxy resin.
